like that. But she made me really, really nervous."
Adele's admiration for Lady Gaga is
evident, and it comes from one highly acclaimed artist to another. Adele

Adele expressed gratitude to the
women in her life, including her mother, aunts, and grandmothers, during her
"Weekends with Adele" residency in Las Vegas. She also shared
memorable experiences with peers who attended her shows, such as Shania Twain
and Lady Gaga.
Recalling a moment with Shania Twain, Adele mentioned mistaking her for a fan due to a hat she was wearing. Additionally, Adele described feeling nervous when Lady Gaga attended one of her shows. However, she had an even more surreal experience when the doctor who delivered her son was in the audience. Adele later contacted the doctor to express her gratitude.
“I remember
one of my first shows I did, Shania Twain came, because she had a hat on, I
walked straight past her and didn’t recognize her until afterwards someone sent
me a video. Then I saw her at the Grammys and we were talking about it.”
Adele, who received the Sherry
Lansing Leadership Award, acknowledged that the opportunities available to her
are the result of others opening doors for her. The award is named after the
first woman to head a Hollywood studio, Sherry Lansing.
