Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' Breaks Records: Spotify's Most-Streamed Album in a Single Day in 2024 - A Testament to the Artist's Enduring Popularity

Beyoncé's latest album, "Cowboy Carter," is already breaking records. Within 24 hours of its release, Spotify announced that the Grammy-winning artist's country album had become its most-streamed album in a single day in 2024 so far. This marks the first time a country album has held that title this year.

Before the album's release, Beyoncé's single "Texas Hold 'Em" reached No. 1 on the U.S. Top 50 chart, with over 200 million streams.

Beyoncé's country album, the second installment in a potential trilogy following 2022's "Renaissance," features a 27-song tracklist with collaborations including Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Willie Nelson, and more.

Since its release, fans have been sharing their reactions on social media to this highly-anticipated project, which marks Beyoncé's first studio album in the genre. It's a significant project for the singer, as she has previously expressed feeling unwelcome in the country space during her earlier attempts to enter the genre.

"This genre forced me to surpass the limitations that were imposed on me," she wrote on Instagram earlier this month. "Act II is a result of challenging myself and taking my time to blend and bend genres together to create this body of work."

Earlier on Friday, it was announced that "Cowboy Carter" had broken records on Amazon Music, marking Beyoncé's biggest album debut to date. The album achieved more first-day streams on Amazon Music globally than any of her previous albums and set a record for the most first-day streams for a country album by a female artist in the history of Amazon Music.

"Cowboy Carter" features tracks such as "Jolene," "II Most Wanted," "Bodyguard," "Sweet Honey Buckin'," and more, and is currently available for streaming on various music platforms.
