In this podcast, Adams and Rafferty will analyze each episode, sharing insider stories about the making of the show, and will also interview other stars from the series. Both actors expressed excitement about revisiting the show that had a significant impact on their lives.
"On the heels of the record-breaking 'Suits' resurgence, it feels like
the perfect time to rewatch the show that changed our lives," said
Adams and Rafferty in a joint statement. "We are thrilled to collaborate with the incredible team at SiriusXM and
look forward to connecting with our friends from the cast and crew, as well as
the 'Suits' fans who made it all possible."
Adams and Rafferty are not just the
faces but also the creative minds behind the podcast, serving as co-creators
and executive producers. The podcast, which is currently untitled, will be
produced by Adam Sachs, Codi Fischer, and Colin Anderson for SiriusXM. Kimmie
Gregory, Cassi Jerkins, and Kristin Shrader are also on board as producers.
"We are excited to team up with Patrick and Sarah to launch this new podcast dedicated to diving deep into a TV show with a passionate, record-setting audience," said Sachs, senior vice president of podcast content at SiriusXM. "Through their work on the series, the beloved co-stars have developed an off-camera friendship that we know will be a treat for 'Suits' fans, new and old. We can't wait for you to listen."
Originally airing on the USA
Network from 2011 to 2019, the legal drama "Suits" experienced a resurgence in popularity when it landed
on Netflix last year. According to Nielsen, it became the most-watched title
ever acquired by a streaming service. This newfound success prompted NBC to
greenlight a spinoff series titled "Suits:
LA," created by Aaron Korsh, the original show's creator. The new
series will be set in the same world as the original but will feature a
completely new cast, with Stephen Amell as one of the stars.
"Suits" follows the story of Mike Ross (played by Adams) and
Harvey Specter (played by Gabriel Macht) as they navigate life as lawyers at a
prestigious Manhattan law firm, dealing with the intricacies of corporate law
while facing personal and professional challenges. The main cast also includes
Sarah Rafferty, Meghan Markle, Gina Torres, and Rick Hoffman.
