Filming for the comedy fantasy series has shifted to Ireland for this season, a departure from the first season's primary location in Romania. The show follows Jenna Ortega's character, Wednesday Addams, as she navigates her life at Nevermore Academy.

Joining the cast as series regulars are Steve Buscemi ("The Big Lebowski"), Billie Piper ("Scoop"), Evie Templeton ("Return to Silent Hill"), Owen Painter ("Tiny Beautiful Things"), and Noah Taylor ("Law & Order: Organized Crime").

In addition to the new series regulars, "Wednesday" has lined up a star-studded list of guest stars for its second season. Christopher Lloyd ("Back to the Future"), Joanna Lumley ("Fool Me Once"), Thandiwe Newton ("Westworld"), Frances O'Connor ("The Missing"), Haley Joel Osment ("The Kominsky Method"), Heather Matarazzo ("The Princess Diaries"), and Joonas Suotamo are all set to make appearances. Lloyd, notably, also portrayed Uncle Fester in the 1991 film adaptation of "The Addams Family."

Furthermore, several actors from the first season have been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming season, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo.

The first season of "Wednesday" has become Netflix's most popular English-language series, garnering 252 million views and spending 20 weeks in the global Top 10. Executive produced by Tim Burton, the show was created and is run by Al Gough and Miles Millar. They expressed excitement about the upcoming season, which will see the entire Addams family joining Nevermore Academy alongside a star-studded cast.
