"Beyoncé was never scheduled to be there," the Grammy-winning star's rep told Morfeli Reporter. "The report of a performance is untrue."

Speculation about the pop icon's attendance and performance at this year's DNC, in celebration of Vice President Kamala Harris' historic presidential nomination, has surged online throughout the week.

On Wednesday, reports indicated that Pink would headline the event before Harris’ speech. On Thursday, Pink, who performed "What About Us" with her daughter Willow, appeared to have been moved up in the lineup, further fueling rumors of a surprise guest later in the evening.

This year’s DNC was emceed by Tony Goldwyn, Ana Navarro, Mindy Kaling, and Kerry Washington, with each star hosting a night of the four-day event. The convention showcased performances from major musicians like Stevie Wonder, John Legend, and Patti LaBelle.

Surprise appearances included Oprah Winfrey, who delivered a speech urging independents, like herself, to vote. Additionally, Julia Louis-Dreyfus moderated a daytime panel.

On the third night, Legend and Sheila E. honored vice presidential nominee Tim Walz’s Minnesota roots by performing Prince's iconic track “Let’s Go Crazy.” The legendary artist hailed from Minneapolis.

In a surprise Wednesday appearance in Chicago, Wonder performed his hit "Higher Ground" and shared an inspiring message: "This is the moment to remember: when you tell your children where you were and what you did. As we stand between history’s pain and tomorrow’s promises, we must choose courage over complacency. It is time to get up and go vote."

In contrast, July's Republican National Convention drew personalities like Hulk Hogan, Kid Rock, and Amber Rose.
