identified "Peach Fuzz" as the defining color for 2024. This light,
fruity tone is characterized as warm, cozy, and tactile, aiming to evoke
feelings of peace and serenity. According to Pantone color specialist Leatrice
Eisman, the choice is influenced by the current state of the world, emphasizing
the need for nurturing colors during times of turmoil.

“We’re
going through a lot of turmoil in our lives, and we have a need for a color
that’s nurturing,” said Eisman “It’s a warm and cozy shade. And it’s very
tactile. We feel that at a time like this, tactility is really important — to
touch other people and gather them into our homes.”
"Peach Fuzz" has been prominent on Spring-Summer 2024 runways, particularly in Milan, with fashion houses like Gucci, Jil Sander, and Sportmax incorporating the hue. Celebrities like Hilary Duff and Uma Thurman have also embraced the trend, donning peach-hued outfits at high-profile events. Pantone's color selections often have a significant impact on design, fashion, and various industries throughout the year.
